Life goes by so fast. Great days, nice days and very bad days. I came across this verse:
“Show me Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.” Psalm 39:4
Have you ever had anyone ask you the question, “If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do?” When we’re young, we think we’re invincible. As we begin to age, we begin losing those we love: parents, siblings and friends. However, no one knows when they may pass. I had no idea my son would pass at the age of 30.
God has called us to love and to make disciples. There is so much dissent today. What if, instead of having to state your opinion, you just loved and agreed to disagree. Have you told someone God loves them? Have you showed them?
Let’s live our lives as if today were our last and shower people with God’s love, mercy and grace. Why? Because it may be your last…
In His Rest,
Jackie Scott
